The beach offers all kinds of activities, such as windsurfing, beach tennis and sandcastle building. At the camping, you can enjoy ball games, tennis and miniature golf or exercise at the jogging track.

We have a well-equipped playground for our younger guests. If you and your family visit us during Midsummer, you can join us in the traditional celebrations with dances and games around the Midsummer pole.
Northern Öland is relatively small and easily accessible, so you can comfortably discover and experience this part of the island by either car or bicycle.

Daytrips & sights

Many sights to see
There is a lot to experience on northern Öland. Places worth seeing include Trollskogen, with pine trees sculpted by the wind; Neptuni Åkrar with its delightful vipers bugloss (blåeld), Byrums Raukar with fantastic limestone formations; Skäftekärrs Iron Age settlement; Högenäs Orde, full of orchids; Källa Gamla Kyrka, an ancient 12th century church. And you will find Ölands only remaining limestone-grinding windmill (skurkvarn) in Jordhamn.

Local artists and craftsmen

In the many studios and galleries, you can see the work of various local artists and craftsmen. And why not take a boat trip to the mythical island of Blå Jungfrun, also called “Blåkulla”. Boats depart from Byxelkrok.
